Hypersonic Materials Scientist
Location: Los Angeles, CA / Onsite

Job Description:
Work at the forefront of hypersonic flight, developing materials that withstand extreme thermal and mechanical loads. You’ll design and test high-temperature ceramics, carbon-carbon composites, and TPS layers for Mach 5+ vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Develop and validate materials for 1500–3000°C environments.
Run thermal fatigue, oxidation, and ablation tests.
Interface with CFD, structural, and propulsion teams.
Requirements:
Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Aerospace Engineering.
Expertise in refractory materials and thermal protection systems.
Experience with hot structure testing and high-temp instrumentation.
