Key Responsibilities:
Perform finite element analysis (FEA) on airframe components
Select materials based on strength-to-weight ratios and fatigue resistance
Support manufacturing teams with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) insights
Collaborate on certification documentation (e.g., Part 25 compliance)
Requirements:
B.S./M.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
Experience with ANSYS, NASTRAN, or Abaqus
Familiarity with composite materials and bonding techniques
