Overview:
We are looking for a Human Factors Designer to shape the user experience of cockpit systems for modern aircraft. You’ll ensure that pilots can interact safely and intuitively with avionics, displays, and flight management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct human-in-the-loop simulations and usability studies
Design UI layouts for EFIS, EICAS, and other cockpit displays
Ensure compliance with human factors regulations (e.g., FAA AC 25.1302)
Collaborate with pilots, engineers, and regulatory bodies
Requirements:
Degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, or related field
Experience with aviation UI/UX or HMI systems
Familiarity with MIL-STD-1472 or similar guidelines
